Following customer feedback, we are now able to use your loved one's complete ashes to create our bespoke seed balls. We estimate that this would give you around 200 seed balls, to scatter in your loved one's favourite places.

Our unique combination of shorter wildflower variety seeds, chilli powder (to keep birds & insects away), calcium (to ensure an appropriate pH level for ideal growth), your loved one's ashes (whether a beloved person or a special pet), clay & peat-free compost, are used to create your bespoke seed balls. We aim to dispatch your order within 7 days of receipt of your loved one’s ashes.

Our combination of shorter flower varieties contains seeds which are designed to be ideally suited to growing on your balcony, in a planter or a window box. This mix contains:

• Myosotis (“Forget Me Nots”)
• Love-in-a-Mist (“Nigella Damascene” or “Devil in the Bush”)
• California Poppy (“Eschscholzia Californica” “Golden Poppy”)
• Red, White & Blue Poppies
• Aquilegia (“Granny’s Bonnet” or “Columbine”)
• Guizotia Abyssinica (“Niger” plant or “Thisle” seed)
• Blanket Flower (“Gaillardia”)

Each cotton bag contains five or more seed balls & is tied with twine & a brown card label, stamped with "In loving memory". If you would prefer blank labels, please advise when sending the ashes. Each bag also comes with a set of instructions for using your seed balls. If you require fewer bags, fewer seed balls, or the seed balls spread between fewer bags, then just let us know.

Equine Ashes

Unfortunately, this service is not available for equine ashes. If you would like help with a loved horse or pony, please choose one of our other services or contact us to discuss your needs & we will be more than happy to help.

Posting & Contact

Please see our "Posting ashes - what are the rules?" page for options.  As only 50g of ashes may be sent via Royal Mail, it may be that collection/delivery of the ashes, would be appropriate; if you need more information, please get in contact, via our contact page.

Please note, the success of the wildflowers is dependent on conditions, and successful growth therefore cannot be guaranteed. Remember – small objects can represent a choking hazard, especially to babies & young children!
